If your Local Authority has refused Planning Permission for your proposed development, you have the right to Appeal against the decision. An Appeal must be lodged within 6 months of the date of the decision
Planning Appeals are handled by the Planning Inspectorate who will appoint an impartial Planning Inspector. The Inspector will make a decision based on the evidence presented to him or her.
Most Appeals are made using the Written Appeal procedure and PLAN-TECH are able to offer this service. We will assess FREE of CHARGE, the Local Authorities reasons for refusal and the chances of success.
We will present a carefully structured case based on Planning Policy, local precedent and relevant successful Appeals in similar case history. We will also engage experts such as Traffic Consultants, Arboricultural Consultants and Landscape Architects as necessary, and with your approval.
If your case is contentious and has raised a number of objections, then the Informal Hearing procedure would probably be more appropriate. PLAN-TECH can gather evidence and prepare the initial Statement of Case. We will then engage the services of an experienced Town Planner who will act as Advocate at the Hearing. Considerable savings in mounting such an Appeal can be made by reducing the Advocates time related costs.
PLAN-TECH recently obtained Planning Permission at Appeal for the erection of a detached dwelling on land adjacent to 4 Kingscourt Lane, Stroud, Glos. This was a challenging resubmission of a previous application which was dismissed at Appeal.
Our client was highly delighted with the outcome and has provided a testimonial reproduced below:-

RE: Plan Tech services for Kingscourt Lane Development.
I would like to thank you for your work on our planning application and
subsequent successful appeal for the development at Kingscourt Lane in Stroud.
Both you and your specialist contractors, such as Highways and Arboriculture
consultants gained outline permission for a development on a plot which had
previously been denied permission on a number of grounds.
This process has really demonstrated to me the value and importance of using a
Planning Consultant and I would have no hesitation in recommending Plan-Tech
to anyone who is undertaking the planning process.
Yours Sincerely,
David Edwards.
